Welcome to UX Fridays, my weekly post series where I showcase a brief UX lesson from my knowledge base to help you better your designs and aid youin your creative process.

Last week we discussed more about the principles, or guidelines if you will, that I mentioned the week prior to that on presenting text information on your websites. Well this week, we are going to discuss a few rules for image use in a website that I feel are very important. These being:

– Keep image content to a minimal
– Use images only to enhance experience, and information
– Maintain image size throughout the site, consistency
– Be prepared for the absence of those images

Those are just a few of my personal rules and guidelines, do you have any worth sharing?

Also, stay checking back with my blog regularly now because pretty soon there is going to be an announcement coming. What could it be?
